Adding a protocol
Open the Protocol tab and select Add. The guided flow covers Item & Dose, Application, Preparation, Schedule, and Review. Entries remain available when you move backward. Confirm every dose, concentration, unit, route, device, and schedule against the prescription or dispensing label before saving.
Calculations and administration graphics
Syringe volumes and pen clicks are arithmetic based only on values entered by the user. If a result looks unexpected, stop and recheck the vial strength, dose unit, concentration, diluent volume, device, and pen calibration. Ask a pharmacist or clinician to verify the calculation before use.
Apple Health
Apple Health is optional. Connect it from Health or Settings and approve only the categories you want to share. If a card is empty, confirm that the requested category contains data and that Protocol has permission to read it.
Apple Watch
The Watch companion shows today’s scheduled items and lets you mark them Taken or Skipped. Keep the iPhone and Watch paired and nearby for the initial sync. Development builds require Xcode device preparation and Developer Mode; TestFlight builds install through Apple’s normal Watch app process.
Bloodwork
Import a supported report from Health, review each detected result against the original document, deselect anything incorrect, and save only verified values. You can delete an imported report and reimport it if needed.
Backups and deletion
Use Settings to export a backup before moving devices or deleting data. Keep backup files secure because they may contain sensitive information. See our data deletion guide for detailed steps.
Reporting a beta issue
Open Settings → Send Beta Feedback. Describe what happened and what you expected. Screenshots are useful, but remove identifying or sensitive health information first.
